ROUX SCHOLARSHIP IN PARTNERSHIP WITH GLOBAL

The Roux Scholarship in association with Global knives from Grunwerg, the most prestigious culinary award within the UK announces its winner: Kenneth Culhane.

The award ceremony, held at London’s Mandarin Hotel at the end of March, will allow the winner to train at a restaurant of his choice anywhere in the world – along with £1000 worth of Global knives. Not only will Kenneth receive the knives, all the scholars will get a set to aid their cooking in the future.

The Roux Scholarship judges: The Roux family (Michel, Albert, Alain and Michel Jnr), Brian Turner, David Nicholls, Gary Rhodes, Heston Blumenthal, Andrew Fairlie and James Martin, all receive one of a kind Global knives, engraved with “The Roux Scholarship Judge 2010”. James Martin personalised his blade by asking all the judges to sign it!
